1 Year Follow Up To Ablation

Hi Lovelies. Happy Hump Day. This is an extra short week for us, we have Monday and Friday off. So, this Wednesday is looking pretty good. Today, I want to share a 1 year follow up to ablation. This is actually a little past due, as my surgery was October 2018. You can see my original post here.

As always, everyones experience is different. So, this is just my personal experience with endometrial ablation and tubal ligation. I am in no way a medical professional and each person may have a different reaction to these procedures. So, please discuss with your doctor and if you have any symptoms always seek medical attention.

Still No Period. Yay!

A year and a couple months and I am still period free. I can still confidently say this is the best decision I have ever made. There is no stress once a month about how am I going to work, how am I going to leave the house. I am free to do what I want and not have to worry about bleeding through my clothes. Which for so many moms I have spoken to is something we all deal with after having children.

No Migraines

Now this was not listed as a benefit of Endometrial Ablation, but since I had the procedure I have not a had my bi-monthly hormonal migraines. The only headaches I have to worry about are dehydration, and drinking too many glasses of wine.

No Cramps

Some months the cramps would knock me on my ass. Now I live my life cramp free. No discomfort, throbbing pains, or curling up in my bed in misery.

No Babies

Thanks to the tubal ligation, we are pregnancy free. I don’t have to remember to take a pill, or feel horrible from taking them. With my high risk for preeclampsia and having a premature birth this is super important.

Light Spotting

The only thing that I have seen from endometrial ablation is light spotting when I go to the restroom. It’s very random and only happens when I go to the bathroom. I couldn’t be more happy with the results of my procedure.

Cross Border Express and flying out of Tijuana. If Cross Border Express and flying out of Tijuana.
If you haven’t made this trip it’s well worth the savings!! It’s so easy.
1. Book your flight with your CBX fees
2. Reserve parking in advance. The premium lots are worth it. You are right outside the CBX doors.
3. Make sure you have proper documentation filled out prior to travel. If you are staying over 7 days in Mexico you have to have a FMM form and pay your fees. This can all be done online prior to arrival at the airport. However, make sure you print the second email they send you. It will be 2 sheets printed on 1. 1 is for departure from the US and one is to return.
4. Arrive 3 hours prior to your planes departure. Customs can take awhile.
5. The beautiful part when you make it to your vacation, you are in the domestic flight center and you walk right out and your vacay begins.
Have you flown out of Tijuana? Do you have any tips to add?

@lionstigers_andbears was such an amazing experien @lionstigers_andbears was such an amazing experience. I highly recommend visiting. They are saving exotic animals from terrible conditions and giving them a safe place to live. You can support their efforts by joining their biggest fundraiser on May 20th WILD IN THE COUNTRY. You can also support them by scheduling a tour or making a donation. They also have an amazing Airbnb on property that I will be sharing later. So check back soon!

We ditched school to check out the new Toontown @d We ditched school to check out the new Toontown @disneyland here are our faves.
1. Watermelon lemonade
2. Daisy Goody-Goody donuts
3. Cheesy pizza flop-over. This was so good and we highly recommend.
4. One of our new favorite rides is Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
As for the rest of Toontown, it’s definitely targeting a younger population. The playground is super cute and a great spot for littles to run around. There is plenty of seating, shaded areas and just a lot of spots to enjoy and take in Toontown. It’s worth checking out, but for now it falls a little short for us as one of our favorite lands in Disney. Star Wars land and Frontierland are still our top picks.
