Gifts for Dad

I can’t  believe that Father’s Day is just around the corner! This year is going by way too fast.  Now, I don’t know about all of you, but my husband is the hardest dang person to shop for.  He never knows what he wants and I’m usually trying to come up with something creative and completely random.  This year, I had a great list of things to get for him and I am rather proud of myself.  I have included a couple of my picks for my hubby and added some other ones that I think are great gifts to wrap for the man.  There are always the usual small gifts you can add in.  I always think of a magazine my husband may want, or tickets to a baseball game for the day.  Here are my favorite gifts for dad for Father’s Day 2015.

The Art of Shaving Kit –  Every man deserves a good shave kit.  I have always been a fan of The Art of Shaving, but you have many other brands you can choose from.  Look for a kit that has everything your man will need to give him a nice clean shave.  Let’s be honest, this gift is a little bit for us ladies too.
Modern Slim Blazer –  My husband actually has this blazer in grey.  I love it.  It fits perfectly and looks fantastic on.  If you shop smart you could find one on the clearance rack.  All of their sport coats are good quality and fit well.
Versace ‘Eau Fraiche’ –  My husband and I both love the smell of this.  It’s light, clean and perfect for these summer months.
Michael Kors Watch – I have a small Michael Kors watch obsession.  I think this is a perfect gift for dad.
Fitbit Surge – Ok, so this is a gift I want, but I’m pretty sure a man would love it too.  Right?  Everyone would love a Fitbit.
PowerBeats – So, this made my Mother’s Day list and now my Father’s Day list.  I got my pair for my special day and I felt like I needed to hide them because my husband might steal them.  So, I got him his own set.
Thank goodness Father’s Day is all done in our house.  Gifts are wrapped, and the cards are done.  Us girls got it done this year.  I hope you all have a great week and find a perfect gift for dad.  What’s on your list for the dads in your life?

Thank you Ashley! That is one of my faves. If I didn’t have my husbands gift already done, I would pick it up as well. xo ~ Megan

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
