Gingerbread And Mimosa Party

Spread the love

Hi Lovelies.  I will be switching up my content a bit and will only be posting twice a week now.  I will be publish content on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Today, we are talking about the fun that is a gingerbread and mimosa party.  Thank you to my Winey Moms group in Temecula for creating this tradition.  I had to start in my new home town with our friends.

I set up my favorite bar cart with all of the fixings for a perfect holiday mimosa and set the table for the kids to have fun with their houses.  I’m sharing my key tips to host the perfect holiday gingerbread and mimosa party.

Festive Cups

These cups were a great addition to my holiday cart.  They are the perfect size for your juice and extra large pour of champagne.  Plus they make the bar cart look so cute.  Michael’s has a ton of choices and you can also find tumblers in the Target dollar spot.

Holiday Drinks

Pick festive holiday juices for your mimosa bar.  I chose Pomegranate, White Cranberry Peach and Orange Juice.  Adding Pomegranate seeds, raspberries and strawberries for a tasty garnish.  I have also seen some great festive mixed drinks.  If you live in a cold region you can serve at mulled wine which is super tasty.

Gingerbread Village Kits

These Villages from Michael’s were perfect for the gingerbread and mimosa party.  For $9 you will get 4 tiny houses that the kids can decorate.  They were super easy to build and the kids loved the size.

Snacks

We served up fresh fruit and this tasty raspberry cake.  Another great option if you are hosting a big party is to ask for people to bring a snack to share.  We were just hosting a small group of eight kids.  So, it was quite easy to just serve up something small.

Decorations

Finish up your gingerbread and mimosa party with all the festive decorations and most importantly a disposable table cloth.  Then you can have an easy clean-up when all of the kids leave. Just wrap it up and toss it.

It was very intense making these gingerbread houses.  Serious faces all around.  These girls are competitive and professional.
