Must Try San Diego Restaurants

Spread the love

Hi Lovelies. It’s a crazy world out there. I can’t believe how fast everything has changed with the Corona Virus pandemic. I thought about stopping content and focusing on family, but blogging keeps my mind from wandering and I figure we all need an escape from the stress of the world. So, today I am sharing my must try San Diego Restaurants.

This list will grow and change as time goes on because I have not even begun to scratch the surface of tasty eateries. For now though these are my favorites.

Herb & Wood

This place is amazing. We had brunch at Herb & Wood. I highly recommend it. The avocado toast is delicious but the best part of the menu is the starters. You have to try it out and get the Dutch Baby Soufflé Pancake.

Hash House A Go Go

Hash House A Go GO is an oldie but a goody. I have been going here for over 10 years. If you want to fill up on some really good food this is it. The serving sizes are massive so be ready to eat. I love the Farm Scrambles and they are known for their chicken and waffle stack.

Cafe Gratitude

Cafe Gratitude is a popular vegan restaurant in Downtown San Diego. The food was delicious and the restaurant is super cute. Cafe Gratitude is a great stop for a vegan dinner when you feel like eating light. The buffalo cauliflower was delicious along with the burger and this sweet potato curry quinoa bowl.

The Fish Market

The Fish Market will blow your mind! The service and quality of the fish is like no other. They also have an amazing story with so much goodness. Every quarter they have a signature drink and beverage list that if you purchase they will donate a dollar to a charity that they have setup for the quarter. They smoke their own fish in house, and have an amazing fish market with some of the best fish I have ever seen.

Don’t forget the view sitting right on the edge of the Harbor it has an amazing sunset view. So book your dinner around sunset and enjoy a great view. They are also celebrating 30 years this year!! Clearly, they are a San Diego staple.

The Prado

The Prado is one of my favorite restaurants in San Diego. Located in the middle of Balboa Park it has such a great outdoor patio. You can enjoy lunch or dinner they have a lot of options and fabulous cocktails.
