The Weekly Style Edit: Printed Dress

Spread the love

Happy Friday.  If you read my post on Wednesday, you will know that my camera broke.  Super bummer, but yesterday I got a brand new, more awesome one. I am so excited to shoot with it this weekend.  So, sadly, today’s outfit was brought to you by my iPhone 7 Plus.  Thank goodness for good cameras on phones.  I have a back-up camera, but the battery was dead.  Unlike my main camera, I don’t have extra batteries for this one.  The hubs and I were all ready to do this shoot, with no camera. So, here ya go. The perfect printed dress for a date night at the San Diego Symphony.

So, this dress is actually a shirt that I just threw a black body con skirt under.  It makes a perfect dress and you would never know it wasn’t actually a dress.   This black skirt was an Express find that I am really happy about.  It will be so perfect with sneakers and a cotton t-shirt.  This shirt can also be paired with leggings, which I am sure you will see on Instagram in the next couple weeks.  Be sure to follow along here.

I wore this dress for our anniversary celebration.  We had dinner at Fleming’s, which is seriously amazing.  I don’t really eat steak, but I had to have steak here.  It was by far the best steak I’ve ever had.  It was so good.  They also have great salad’s and sides.  We then headed to the San Diego Symphony to see the Birth of Cool: A West Jazz Salute.  We had so much fun.  I have never been to the symphony.  First off, it’s a beautiful building inside.  Second, the jazz concert was great.  They had well known artists performing.  Chuck Berghofer who has played with Barbara Streisand and performed with Frank Sinatra.  It was such a great experience to see a group of performers that are well known in their respective fields.  I highly recommend checking out the Symphony and their upcoming concerts.  They have a wide variety of shows including some for the kids at the holidays.
