Happy Monday. Today’s outfit is something I have been wanting for quite sometime, but because I hardly ever make it to the mall, I haven’t seen a pair of the pants in person. I found these burgundy velvet pants at Nordstrom and I was so excited. Thanks to my best friend for getting me out and into a mall, I got to scope out lots of trends that have been on my mind for awhile.

As a fashion blogger, I prefer shopping online now and rarely venture out. I feel like it’s easier to be able to share products that would be easier for my readers to find. Plus, I love my girls and I am so thankful that they love shopping, but being a stylish mom is hard. They are constantly moving and I always feel like I’m trying to tell them how to behave in a store. I just end up stressed out and the fun is over. Any other mommas know what I am talking about?

Love the velvet pants. It’s nice to have texture variety. I also totally feel ya on shopping with kiddos. It does turn into behaviour discussions the whole time. Tricky because they need the practice on how to behave in public, but can be brutal!
Yes. I try to take them on short trips that I’m not really focused on getting anything specific. Then they can learn, but I don’t get stressed out trying to find what I need. xo ~ Megan
