The Weekly Style Edit: Dramatic Sleeve

Hi Lovelies.  It’s Friday, Friday, Friday and a whole new month.  I just signed up with my trainer for twice a week sessions and I am hoping it will be just the motivation I need to get my butt in gear.  I also signed up for the Disney half marathon in September and booked our hotel for a two day getaway with the family.  It’s going to be so much fun and I can’t wait to hit the pavement when I shake this damn cough!  Anyway, this outfit is the perfect stylish mom date night look.  I shared this dramatic sleeve in my Spring Trends on Tuesday.  It’s fun and a great way to mix up a cold shoulder top.

Now that we have talked about motivation, I have set goals month in and month out and have accomplished nothing.  I have to talk about goals and setbacks.  We have all set New Years Resolutions and had big plans for 2017.  If you are like me, there have been many things that have stood in your way.   I have had emotional toddlers, sickness, stress, and just an overall lack of time.  I have always strived to make this a place about focusing on yourself and making time for you.  In the grand scheme of things though, I have lost that for myself.

March is all about getting that back for me.  I have my trainer scheduled for the whole month.  I am joining my yoga studio for 31 days of yoga.  March is finally going to be MY MONTH.  I love my children and my family, but I need to do me for a little bit.  So, here is to March!  Who’s with me?  What are your goals for March?

Linking up with these lovely ladies.

Let’s get to the Weekly Style Edit.  Join at Middle of Somewhere, our guest Pretty In Her Pearls and I for weekly style linkup.

I always think January is totally the wrong time to start a new fitness regime – the weather’s rubbish, there are so many colds and bugs going around and it’s probably the most miserable month of the year. March is much more motivating with the extra daylight and blossom on the trees. I love your top and furry bag 🙂

Thank you for hosting the link up party 🙂 This is actually my first time taking part in something like this. I found out about your linkup list from Classy Yet Trendy. I am glad to be apart of it. I love your style and feel that I can definitely relate to it. It is also helpful to see you maintaining a successful blog yet still making time to take care of your self and get back on track. This is also what I all about. I look forward to maybe working with you one day 🙂

Have you been to Ensenada? What’s your favorite spots? We had a great time on our Ensenada excursion on our Carnival cruise. Including rain, pina coladas, La Bufadora and wine tasting at Santa Tomas winery. If you are in SoCal I recommend making your own way across the border to Ensenada.
