Ruffle Top

*Although product was provided, all opinions are my own.

Hi Lovelies.  Monday’s after a week off of routine are brutal.  We had a fun filled week for Thanksgiving.  We ventured to Disneyland and Sequoia National Park.  I will be sharing our Sequoia trip this week, but for now I want to share this outfit that I wore for our family photos.

The perfect family photo outfit or holiday look with a ruffle top and shimmery skirt.

Ruffle White Top c/o Octer | Shimmer Skirt | Nude Heel (similar) |

We went for dressed up photos at the beach for this years Christmas cards.  This top I purchased through Octer.  I had this skirt and was trying to find the perfect shirt to pair with it and this top was it. I was so excited to try out Octer because it’s a great way to shop several retailers at one time.  This shirt was from JCPenny, which I have never shopped at for clothes.  If it wouldn’t have been for Octer, I would have never known they had such cute stylish pieces.  So, when I saw this top I picked up a few more things from JCPenny.  Seriously, never thought I would say that.  I shopped at JCPenny, thanks to Octer.  Have you started getting ready for Christmas?  Be sure to check back on Wednesday for the holiday house tour.

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
