Hi Fashionistas and Happy Friday. It has definitely been a long break for me. Covid and buying a home has really messed up my focus and now we are starting home school. My head is just spinning. Anyway, the tie dye trend seems to be sticking around. Since it has been a crazy heat wave here in San Diego, I thought I would share my tips on how to wear tie dye in your 30’s.

I have two outfits for you today that are great options to style tie dye past your twenties. I know the full sweatsuit thing is a big trend, but for me I just don’t think it is something I would rock in my thirties. So, here are my easy tips to master this trend.

  • Wear one piece at a time. Buy the full sweatsuit to rock at home, but when you wear it out choose either the bottoms or the top. Pair it with something simple. Denim shorts, or a graphic tee are a great choice.
  • Keep your accessories simple.
  • Throw a jacket over a dress.
  • Keep it casual.

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
